Excellent systemic accounting exegesis of the current system...and its paradigm of Debt ONLY as the sole form and vehicle for the creation and distribution of new money. Nothing inherently wrong with the concept of debt itself, only a monopolistically enforced, dominating and hence problematic paradigm of IT. The last monopoly paradigm was the Roman Catholic Church's salvation via its sacraments ONLY which was resolved by people understanding that they were FREE to have a direct relationship with god. What we need is a monetary, financial and economic Reformation that strategically integrates the FREEDOM enhancing effects of Monetary Gifting into the economy in ways that destroys current orthodoxies and resolves its deepest problems.

A Green senator told me "now is not the time to promote MMT in Parliament, because we have high inflation". Can you present a scheme to manage inflation in all supply/demand contingencies, given mandated full-employment (Ie Job Guarantee ), and near ZIRP (at the central bank, to avoid hurting private sector debtors?) Eg, price controls, rationing and subsidization of low-income households when necessary? Inflation remains the stumbling block to acceptance of 'free' government money (fiat).
